For those who follow Professional Football, this weekend is the biggest game of the year, The Superbowl. Superbowl Sunday is nearly a holiday in itself and whether you watch the game as a fan or for the incredible commercials, there is no better place to watch it, than at the newly opened massive sports bar, Bokampers. Located at 3115 NE 32nd Avenue, it offers a huge selection of foods from flatbreads, to wings, wraps, salads, and they even have a skinny menu for those watching their figure and have over 70 plasma televisions. The establishment was founded by former Miami Dolphins player, Kim “Bo” Bokamper and is steeped in tradition. This is THE place to watch the Superbowl this Sunday.
Bokampers is located in one of the best neighborhoods, Lauderdale Beach, and is also the neighborhood of one of my featured condominiums, The Berkley South. Residents of Berkley South also enjoy numerous restaurants and shopping at Galt Ocean Mile, and additionally the location offers water taxi throughout the day. Along the intracoastal there is incredible dining, such as The Chart House, that takes full advantage of the water views and fabulous Fort Lauderdale weather. Wine bars are popular in the area, allowing locals and visitors to taste a variety of international and domestic wines. The Fort Lauderdale International Airport is proximately located and is under 20 minutes and the rest of Fort Lauderdale and the stunning beaches are minutes away. For more information on properties located in Lauderdale Beach and at Berkley South, contact me today!

With the polar vortex in the north, we are witnessing a veritable throng of visitors to Fort Lauderdale and since it is not showing any signs of warming, the rental market is shrinking with renters seeking warmth from the north. My properties both for sale and rent are moving at a very fast pace, and it is with pleasure that I announce my newest stunning seasonal rental at The Corinthian, residence 3F. This 2 bed 2 bath residence has been completely remodeled and offers elegant contemporary furnishings, beautiful 24 inch porcelain floors, smooth ceilings, and floor to ceiling hurricane impact glass windows and sliders. Whether inside the residence or sitting on your private enclosed balcony terrace, you can revel at the sight of big yachts cruising up and down the Intracoastal Waterway. The gourmet open kitchen features custom European cabinetry, exquisite Quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. Each bath has the highest quality upgrades and finishes with no cost spared. This turnkey seasonal rental has been designed for those who deserve the very best.

The Corinthian is a gated luxury condominium in the prime Sunrise Intracoastal location. Luxury amenities include a heated rooftop pool on the 24th floor, along with The Corinthian Club with full kitchen facilities for entertaining, 24 hour security and parking attendants, covered parking, and 3 room fitness center. The beautiful lobby, library and rooftop deck were remodeled in 2012. While the beach is just a few blocks away, outdoor activities abound near The Corinthian as the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park is a short walk and shopping is available at the nearby Galleria Mall. The Coral Ridge Yacht Club is proximately located as well for those with boats. The Fort Lauderdale International Airport is a short drive away, as are a number of executive airports for those with private aviation preferences. It is playing for a limited engagement at the Broward Center at 201 SW Fifth Avenue with evening shows from Tuesday through Sunday and select matinees. This adaptation from the MGM classic contains all the original scores and also has new songs by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Weber. The staging transports you to the land of Oz and it pays particular attention to Technicolor. It is appropriate for all ages and is a wonderful opportunity to experience Broadway in Fort Lauderdale. Fort Lauderdale is increasingly becoming a dining destination in South Florida. Some of my favorite restaurants are proximately located to incredible real estate and from time to time, I refer clients to my favorite restaurants. Today I would like to put a spotlight on an incredible seafood restaurant, Truluck’s. Truluck’s has a number of locations, however in Fort Lauderdale it is located at 2584A East Sunrise Boulevard at The Galleria shopping area. There is nothing more rewarding than a seafood supper after a long day of shopping. The real estate in the area is incredible as well and holds some superb waterfront homes in the Sunrise Intracoastal neighborhood. If you would like information on this neighborhood, please contact me today, and enjoy my suggestions at Truluck’s. Dining hours are Monday to Saturday from 5pm to 10pm and Sunday from 5pm to 9pm.
