The Sobe Wine and Food Festival is one of the largest food festivals in the United States and has the world’s most renowned wines and chefs participating in hundreds of dinners, tastings, and demonstrations. The festival benefits the FUI Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism and to date it has raised over $18 million. It is now in its’ 13th year and has grown to a four day festival. The experiences range from the very intimate to the Whole Foods Tasting Village and tickets range in price from complimentary to over $400 per ticket for VIP. There are also packages that are tailored to those enthusiasts that are traveling in for the event. The Q hosted by Michael Symon: The Q is a celebration of BBQ where you choose your favorite bbq item from your favorite chef. This is the Kick Off event for the weekend and the whose who of food will be presenting their finest BBQ offerings.

Burger Bash Hosted by Rachael Ray and Pat LaFrieda: The Burger Bash holds a title that is most coveted and this event is the first to sell out every year. Who would not want the chance to judge who makes the best burger in America?

Whole Foods Tasting Village: The Whole Foods Tasting Village contains booths from all the top restaurants in Miami as well as demonstrations from the top chefs of the US. This event is one of the highlights of the weekend and many of your favorite food network chefs will be giving demonstrations and answering questions.

Wine Spectator’s Best of the Best: This event is not only the best chefs but is also the best wines that rate 90 points or higher on the Wine Spectator scale. It takes place at the famed Fountainbleu and is sure to be one of the highlights of the festival. Below is a list of the wines offered. Enjoy!
