The South Beach Food and Wine Festival is launching in Fort Lauderdale as Taste Fort Lauderdale Series in 2016 from February 24 to February 28. This is one of the nations leading culinary events and a welcome event in Fort Lauderdale. They had one event last year in order to test the market and found it a perfect venue. The kickoff event will be called Seaside Eats and will be the first event of the South Beach Food and Wine Festival. It will be hosted by celebrity Chef Robert Irvine and will be held at the historic Bonnet House, which is close to The Corinthian, one of my top producing condominiums. The event will feature signature dishes from Fort Lauderdale’s most prized chefs from Steak 954, Louie Bossi’s Restaurant, S3 Restaurant, Wild Sea Oyster Bar and Grille, Himmarshee Public House, and more.
Another drive of the events in Fort Lauderdale will be to showcase some of Fort Lauderdale’s top resorts including new developments. Napa chefs Roberty Curry and Paul Lemieux will serve a dinner at Auberge Residences and Spa, which will open formally in 2017. The Ritz Carlton will also host a Bloody Mary Brunch with the cast of the popular cooking show “Chopped.” Tickets are not yet on sale, but buy them fast, these events frequently sell out!
